Authentic Farm Stay

Your farm stay will begin with an overnight in the busy port city of Port Elizabeth. In the morning, we'll head north through the university town of Grahamstown, where the Xhosa people first made contact with white settlers almost 300 years ago.

The Frontier Country in South Africa's Eastern Cape Province is home of the Bontebok antelope, which was almost driven to extinction. Thanks to conservation efforts, and now is resurgent across the Cape.

In the high country to the north are several multi-thousand hectare farms which are home to Black, White and Common Springbok, and Black Wildebeest as well as exotic birds and reptiles. You will stay on a working farm and share meals with the extended family of three generations.

Private guest quarters open onto the common courtyard, the den, and the dining room.
